Submitting a Fresco or HiRes Data Request by Email

The best way to submit a data request is by e-mail. IPAC has an automated system to serve e-mail requests, which any user can access. To get a request form with detailed instructions, send a dummy message (containing at least one line, which may be blank) to:

dataproduct-req@ipac.caltech.edu

Where: dataproduct = fresco or hires.

These accounts are not read by humans, so please don't direct questions to these addresses! The system automatically replies to your message with a copy of the current request form for that data product, along with some information about the product and some instructions for filling in the forms. These request forms change fairly frequently, so you should get a new form each time you request data. When you have completed the request, mail it back to:

dataproduct@ipac.caltech.edu

You should get an acknowledgment of the receipt of your request within one working day. If you do not, you should re-submit the request.

Scanpi Data Requests

Scanpi is now available on-line through IRSA at http://irsa.ipac.caltech .edu/applications/IRAS/Scanpi. IRSA supports on-line processing of single sources, and batch model processing of multiple sources. Documentation on Scanpi is available here.
