The Solar System Dynamics Group at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory maintains a database and set of services for predicting the ephemerides of solar system objects (planets, moons, asteroids, etc. This service is a wrapper around their tools which allows the user to obtain a table of locations for a single object (e.g. asteroid) by name for a specified time range. This table is in a form where the locations can be plotted as an overlay in OASIS.

Object name:
From (UT): - -    :
To(UT): - -    :
Timestep:
Observer longitude:
Observer latitude:
Observer elevation (m):

</COMMENT> <p>This browser installation does not support JAVA 1.3 plugin. Please update if possible.<p>

Dates are to be given as YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM (UT), (Lon,lat) in decimal degrees and elevation in meters. Object name is string like "Ceres" or "Planet;Jupiter" (see http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eph for details).
