Data Visualization

Oasis contains a broad range of data visualization tools. More importantly, the data displayed can be interrelated both visually (overlays) and logically (data links).

This functionality can be broken down into the following general areas:

• Image Display (e.g. color tables, zoom/pan)
• Map Layers (e.g. source, countour maps)
• Table Display (e.g. catalog subsets)
• XY Plotting (e.g. spectra, light curves, scan tracks)

The main Oasis window contains a single background image (stretched, colored, and zoomed as appropriate) plus any overlay layers. Each table will have its own window, as will each XY plot.
