The NVO Table Converter
takes your input ASCII table and attempts to interpret it as a table with
coordinates or object names (which are then processed through the NED/SIMBAD
name resolvers). Irregular column spacing, blank lines, and other common
formatting problems are resolved to the extent possible. Various
representations of celestial coordinates can be interpreted and rewritten in
VO-compatible formats (fixed width ASCII text tables or VOTables) suitable
for upload to Data Discovery components and other VO applications.
