Table Reformat and Validation

Source lists uploaded to IRSA services and catalogs intended for archiving at IRSA should conform to the IPAC table format . In this format, columns are aligned in fixed-width records, free of mark-up and escape codes. This service scans ASCII tables (no binary files or Rich Text mark-up) and attempts to correct them. The service aids users in properly formatting tables and is not intended to provide a definitive method of formatting tables.

First time users: Please look at the following examples ; some badly formatted tables can pass this service.
