Overview

Herschel observations of EXtra-Ordinary Sources (HEXOS) is a Herschel Guaranteed Time Key Program (KPGT_ebergin_1). Using the HIFI instrument, HEXOS performed unbiased submillimeter spectral line surveys of five star forming regions in the Orion and Sagittarius B2 molecular clouds: Orion KL, Orion S, Orion Bar, Sgr B2 N+M. These data provide access to strong molecular line emission and represent an important resource for exploring the chemistry of the dense ISM.

If you use HEXOS data, please cite the journal articles Crockett et al. (2014a) and Crockett et al. (2014b) for Orion KL, Nagy et al. (2013) for Orion Bar, and Neill et al. (2014) for Sgr B2, as well as the dataset Digital Object Identifier (DOI): 10.26131/IRSA510.
