GOALS Spitzer Data
You can get a close-up map of a region by clicking on any of the red overlays on the above image, or by typing a coordinate below.
The Spitzer data from the "Great Observatories All-sky LIRG Survey" (GOALS), a Legacy III Project, are available here using spatial and visualization tools. IRSA is serving the GOALS Enhanced Products data from the Spitzer Science Center (SSC) public data staging location. GOALS includes IRS spectra and IRAC and MIPS images for 203 low redshift LIRGs and ULIRGs, all available here are using a spatial search.

The GOALS images are represented as overlays in red on the ISSA all-sky image above. Use the form below to enter a coordinate or object name to search for data, or click on any red region to get a close-up of the area; or click on the any of the GOALS galaxy names for a summary page of each object. Summary pages are created by IRSA to aid with data layout and visualization; these pages contain GOALS images, spectra, and previews, as well as links to all files provided by GOALS for that galaxy.
The canonical paper for the GOALS project is Armus et al. (2009).
