Taurus Spitzer and Ancillary Data
You can get a close-up map of a region by clicking on any of the overlays on the above image, or by typing a coordinate below. Red and cyan outlines show MIPS 24um and IRAC coverage; yellow outlines are MIPS 70um and 160um mosaics.
The 3rd delivery of the "Taurus 2: Finishing the Spitzer Map of the Taurus Molecular Clouds" (Taurus), Spitzer Legacy program is available here using spatial and visualization tools. The Taurus Spitzer Legacy project has mapped ≈44 square degrees of the Taurus star-formation region using the IRAC and MIPS cameras aboard the Spitzer Space Telescope. DR3 includes MIPS and IRAC image mosaics, which are served here using spatial search (using the form below). IRSA also has made available the September 2008 catalog using IRSA's Catalog Search engine.
Also available are Taurus image "cutouts" using IRSA's Cutouts Service, which is a general tool to create single or multiple small FITS (and JPEGs) image cutouts of datasets archived at IRSA.
The Taurus images are represented as overlays on the ISSA 12um image above: IRAC in red, MIPS 24um in cyan, and MIPS 70um and 160um mosaics in yellow. Use the form below to enter a coordinate or object name to search for data, or click on the image above.
Access all the Spitzer Legacy datasets at IRSA.
