README for FLS Ecliptic Plane Component.

The First Look Survey IRAC data comprises 6 AORs. 3 for the 0 degree
ecliptic latitude field (6095104,6095360, 6095616), and 3 for the +5
degree ecliptic latitude field (6095872,6096128,6096384). Both fields
are approximately 0.13 sq. degrees in area. In both cases the field
center (given in the table below) and mapping pattern (2x10 frames) are
identical for all three AORs within a given field set, modulo the random
placement of individual frames due to the dither pattern. For each
latitude field we therefore have 3 time-resolved observations of that
same field, separated by approximately 70 minutes. This technique allows
us to search for moving targets by observing which targets are found at
the same coordinates in all three observations, and which ones move as a
function of time. In the IRAC data, asteroids are most detectable in the
8um frames. Individual pipeline-processed frames can be found in the bcd
directories for each AOR. Mosaics of the entire field at each wavelength
are available in the pbcd directories.
