Cool Stars 14 - Submitted Abstract # 180 This version created on 05 October 2006 Stellar Limb Darkening Measurement from Gravitational Microlensing Observations David Heyrovsky, Charles University Prague Observations of caustic-crossing Galactic gravitational microlensing events provide a unique opportunity to study the atmospheres of the lensed stars. Here we demonstrate the influence of the star's limb darkening on the microlensing light curve and introduce an optimal method for its measurement. We analyze several observed microlensing events and present the measured limb darkening profiles of the lensed stars. ----------------------------------
