COSMOS Subaru Data
===========================================================================

The Cosmic Evolution Survey (COSMOS) is an HST Treasury Project to survey
a 2 square degree equatorial field, centered on RA=10:00:28.6 and
DEC=+02:12:21.0, using the ACS camera. The project also incorporates major
commitments from other observatories around the world, including the VLA
radio telescope, ESO's VLT in Chile, ESA's XMM X-ray satellite, and the
Japanese 8-meter Subaru telescope in Hawaii.

These images are scattered light corrected flat fields for the Subaru
Suprime-Cam camera used for the COSMOS data reduction, see Capak
et. al. (2007) for details. They were generated between Jan, 2004 and
Feb, 2005 (see Tanaguchi et. al. (2007) for the exact dates). The
flats appear stable at the 1% level across multiple runs during this
observing period.

The chips have been re-numbered and the overscan region has been
removed from the raw data. As a result, there is a positional offset
and name change between the raw Suprime-Cam data and these frames;
these are given at the end of this file. All chips are normalized to
a median of 1; Chip-to-Chip sensitivity variations are given at the
end of this file.

Chip Naming convention used for these data:
5 6 7 8 9
0 1 2 3 4

Chip	Suprime_chip_name	x0	y0*
 0		6		0	0
 1		7		0	0
 2		2		32	0
 3		3		32	0
 4		8		0	0
 5		0		32	0
 6		1		32	0
 7		5		0	0
 8		4		32	0
 9		9		32	0

*x0,y0 is the position of pixel 0,0 on the raw Suprime-Cam images
