The Extended LRS Atlas on the Boston College Dataverse 2025 April This dataset contains an updated atlas of spectra from the Low-Resolution Spectrometer (LRS) on the Infrared Astronomical Satellite (IRAS), which took spectra from 7.67 to 22.73 um with a spectral resolving power of 20-60. The updated atlas includes 11,238 spectra, including 5,425 spectra published in the original LRS Atlas, 5,796 spectra published in three later papers, and 17 spectra previously available online but not published. Each spectrum is provided in IPAC-table format, with metadata information in the file header. The spectral files contain five data columns: |wavelength| flux | error |segment| rawflux | | float | float | float | int | float | | um | Jy | Jy | | Jy | See Sloan, Kraemer, & Volk (2025, ApJS, in press) for details on the contents of the spectral data files and the ancillary data also included (and listed below). The spectra have 0s in the error column to make the tables compatible with certain software that requires an error column. The spectra will also be available at IPAC in the (searchable) Infrared Science Archive (IRSA).
