MUSYC Data
The Multiwavelength Survey by Yale-Chile (MUSYC) consists of deep optical
medium-band and broadband optical and near-IR imaging of the ~30'x30' Extended Chandra Deep Field
South. This field includes the GOODS-South field and the Hubble Ultra Deep Field,
and covers the same area as the
SIMPLE Spitzer Legacy
program.
The MUSYC images are
available here using spatial and visualization
tools.
Use the form below to enter a coordinate or
object name to search for data, or click the image above to retrieve cutout images for your area of interest (along with links to the original mosaics). MUSYC catalog data are available using IRSA's
Gator Catalog Search Engine, which allows for complex search queries. You can also bypass searching and browse the
images or
catalogs.
Also available are MUSYC image "cutouts" using IRSA's
Cutouts Service, which is a general tool to
create single or multiple small FITS (and JPEG) image cutouts of data sets archived at IRSA.
