Overview

The Spectra of IRS Standard Stars (IRS_Std) data set consists of the candidate spectrophotometric standard stars for the Infrared Spectrograph (IRS) on Spitzer: 33 K giants, 20 A dwarfs, and 20 M giants. A subset of these stars were selected during the mission to be the primary calibration standard stars for the IRS. The IRS covered a wavelength range of 5.1 to 37.0 microns. Unless noted otherwise, the A dwarf and K giant spectra, along with the M giant spectra, are coadded from the available data. The two exceptions are HR 6348 and HD 173511, which served as primary standards for the IRS and for which template spectra are provided.

(2015a) for A dwarf and K giant spectra, Sloan and Ludovici (2012) for HR 6348 and HD 173511 template spectra, and Sloan and Ludovici (2012) for M giant spectra, as well as the dataset Digital Object Identifier (DOI): 10.26131/IRSA506.
