Spitzer Infrared Nearby Galaxies Survey (SINGS) Overview
SINGS Overview SINGS Primary Data Access SINGS Galaxy Summaries

Overview

The SINGS sample contains 75 galaxies, representative of a large range of properties of local normal galaxies. SINGS data products include Spitzer IRAC and MIPS images, IRS spectral cubes, maps, and 1-d spectra, MIPS-SED data cubes and 1-d extractions, optical BVRI & H-alpha images, and optical spectra.

If you use SINGS data, please cite the journal articles Kennicutt et al. (2003) for the survey and Moustakas et al. (2010) for the optical spectra, as well as the dataset Digital Object Identifier (DOI): 10.26131/IRSA424.
