Web Infrared Tool Shed
Purpose: The Web Infrared Tool Shed is a collection of web pages and programs ("tool boxes") for the analysis of astronomical objects that emit primarily in the wavelength range 2 µm to 1 mm. The goal of WITS is to provide the astronomical community with a uniform set of models over a large parameter space of source properties.

WITS currently consists of:
- PDR Toolbox (PDRT) - plots of physical parameters (surface temperature, gas density, incident radiation field) as a function of observables (spectral line intensities and ratios) for standard model photodissociation regions (PDRs); and interactive fitting of observables to models.
- Dust InfraRed Toolbox (DIRT) - a comprehensive Java applet for modelling astrophysical process in circumstellar dust shells around young and evolved stars.
