Cool Stars 14 - Submitted Abstract # 162 This version created on 05 October 2006 Automated Analysis of Radio Surveys for Ultracool Dwarfs Stephen Bourke, NUI Galway Gregg Hallinan, NUI Galway Aaron Golden, NUI Galway Huib Jan van Langevelde, JIVE Lisa Harvey-Smith, JIVE While the upcoming generation of radio instruments promise great advances in the the field of very low mass stars and brown dwarf science, the analysis of the vast amounts of data produced by these instruments presents a serious challenge. We present here, work on automating the analysis of large radio datasets using ParselTongue, the Python interface to AIPS, as well as results of work already carried out. Specifically we report its application to recent VLA observations of ultracool dwarfs. It is shown that utilisation of this environment possesses many advantages over traditional methods. ----------------------------------
