The Getty Center
is one of the world's preeminent centers of art. It includes the J. Paul
Getty Museum, as well as a research institute, conservation institute, grant
program, and leadership institute. The museum opened in 1997 and is a relative
new point of interest for visitors to the Los Angeles area.
