Overview
The Spitzer First Look Survey (FLS) was the initial Director's Discretionary
Time program executed on the observatory.
The Extragalactic First Look Survey is composed of 4 square degrees of imaging
with MIPS and IRAC centered at J1718+5930.
The Galactic First Look Survey spent 36 hours mapping regions of the Milky Way,
with the goal of characterizing cirrus and source counts in different Galactic
environments.
The Ecliptic First Look Survey concentrated on two 0.13 square deg fields at a
solar elongation of 115 degrees and ecliptic latitudes (b) of 0 degrees and +5
degrees.
